Privacy Policy

Autonomous Business Platform (ABP)

Effective date: September 2026

This policy explains how ABP collects, uses, protects, and otherwise processes personal and business data. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

ABP (“we”, “our”) operates the Autonomous Business Platform — business record-keeping, intelligence, and messaging services delivered through WhatsApp and other channels. Contact: segun@abp.ng.

2. What we process

When you use ABP, we process data you provide or generate through the service: business data (sales, expenses, inventory, products, customers, suppliers, and payment records you enter or send us, including via WhatsApp messages); identity data (name, email address, phone number, workspace details); communications (WhatsApp messages — text, and media such as photos, documents, and voice notes — sent to or from ABP, used to record transactions, answer questions, and extract document data); and derived data (knowledge items, insights, forecasts, and recommendations generated from your business data, stored with confidence scores and provenance).

3. How we use it

We use your data to: provide and improve the service (recording, reporting, Q&A, recommendations); process WhatsApp messages end-to-end (inbound → processing → outbound replies); generate summaries and insights; ensure security and prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI processing

Some features use AI models (e.g., language and vision models) to classify messages, extract data from documents, answer questions, and generate insights. Where AI is used, we process in accordance with this policy and retain inputs and outputs only as needed to operate the service.

5. Storage and retention

Business data is stored on our hosting infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Media and derived knowledge are retained per service settings; backups are retained on a rolling basis for disaster recovery.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, messaging, AI, monitoring) under appropriate safeguards, and with authorities when required by law. We never sell data.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise rights, contact segun@abp.ng. We respond within applicable timeframes (Nigeria Data Protection Act / NDPR).

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures — access controls, encryption, least-privilege credentials, monitoring, and regular backups — appropriate to the data we process.

9. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above changes accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
